The Life of ANY Mom is Fitness

Ah, the joys of baby phat. As if motherhood isn’t difficult already, now our bodies have stopped working the way they did the first 15-20 something years. However, being a performer suddenly makes image an important factor, which left me scrambling to lose weight at all costs. If you bounced back in 6 weeks and can still fit your teenage clothes, then congratulations! This page is probably not for you.

No, this space is designed for those like me, who have to keep up with our fitness and need tidbits of motivation to get it started practically EVERY TIME. On the days when you can’t find your will to get up and moving, come back and find inspiration. We only get one body. Let’s try to make it a great one.

About the Author

I’m Fa’a, keyboardist & vocalist in the band Cultural Nation, started by me and my better half, John. We are also the lucky (and, uh, stressed) parents of 3 beautiful babies, all under the age of 5. Between late night gigs, working my day job, parenting, and trying to keep a clean home, things get hectic. I know I’m not alone. This is a collection of funny, real and common thoughts I have about being a ReggaeMama. Subscribe to get my latest blogs sent straight to your inbox.
